We have a five star rating from babyexperts.com. After being mystery shopped (you know who you are-but we don’t 🙂 ) we received an evaluation form showing that we had a 92% or five stars from the independent Business Evaluation Service. Kudos to all the staff here at Junior Towne. Special reference was made to how knowledgeable the person helping her was. This was from a national service and we will be listed online on a national database! So, should you have questions about carseats, cribs, strollers, or whatever, we are here (and certified!)

Last week I saw my first mosquito of the season. The first hummers always seem to be a little slow and very big; later the most aggressive and hungry arrive. We are carrying a new line of insect repellent by Natrapel. It has been proven as effective as Deet but safe for children. The Natrapel lotion and wipes are in and we are waiting for the wrist bands to arrive. Get your stroller, carseat and portacrib netting now-it is going fast.

My eldest son just graduated from law school at the University of Oregon. While in Oregon for the graduation we were able to attend several crafts markets. It was terrific fun and we came across several lines of children’s retro hats and clothing that we think Alaskans would enjoy. They should start arriving the first week in June.

Actually, they were all winners and our independent judges had a really tough time doing their job!

Our Alaskan summer is upon us (we hope) and we have a terrific selection of Hatley, Bogg, and Kidorable rain boots, Columbia rainsuits, Mustela sunscreen and  Patagonia sunhats. Who knows? We may be able to use all of them before September. Another new item is the new mosquito repellent, wipes and after bite lotion due in next week.

Time flies and children grow. We just got in a great selection of Britax carseats. Have you checked yours lately? The new Boulevard CS (Click and Safe) is here in all the patterns as well as the Couture Marathons. I have never seen nicer patterns.
